BROTHERHOOD CHARITIES, INC.
Brotherhood Charities, Inc. is an organization
that was incorporated on October 1, 2012, for the purpose of assisting individuals and other organizations that may need financial
support. This entity consists of Larry McLin, President; Dave Fry, Vice-President; and Rick Powers, Treasurer.
The other members are Steve Armes, Scott Bennett, Jim Browning, Bill Whitehead, Mike McLemore, and Tom Underwood.
The object of the organization is to solicit
donations from people or organizations who wish to donate to a charity that is recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c)(3) charitable
institution and to obtain a gaming license which would allow us to again have a Raffle Car and raise funds through ticket
sales, 50/50 Drawings, and various other sources.
One of our goals is to provide funds to assist 20th Century Chevy,
Inc. in their annual Christmas Project, which benefits many children and their families in our county.
We are now incorporated, the 501 (c)(3)
status is in place, and we have a sales tax exemption number.
We recently received our Gambling License
and that means the GIVEAWAY RAFFLE CAR will return this year, as well as a huge 50/50 Drawing.
We are currently operating with generous
donations from the 20th Century Chevy, Inc. car club.
If you would like to make a donation to
the Brotherhood Charities, Inc., please contact one of the members of the organization, or talk to any member of 20th Century
Chevy.
